Well, I don’t have time to explain it very much, but if you want to go from Beta Male to Alpha Male there are a few things you will want to do.

First, you will have to become more confident. If you want to be in charge, you will have to be super confident. If someone is in charge, he is probably very confident.

Second, you have to have great body language to be an Alpha Male. A guy in charge is likely to show his confidence through body language. If you want to be in charge, you have to change your body language.

Third, you have to model other Alpha Males that you know. Find the way the Alphas you know talk, act, etc, and mirror that.

Have you been wondering about What is Easter and Pentecost? Most have. Well, Easter is the Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, and Pentecost is the date of birth of the church. Both holy days are important, but, it is a bad idea to begin at this point, because the chronicle starts prior to this. About age thirty-one, our Lord began his public ministry, teaching and speaking in the countryside of Galilee. His message was about showing love to God and others. His message was revolutionary, and he claimed not only was he the Messiah, but he was also God’s Son. These claims did not endear him to the religious authorities and secular authorities at the time. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the people welcomed him as royalty, but by the close of the week, he was crucified, and died on the cross, an event celebrated on Good Friday. We aren’t quite to Pentecost Sunday yet, but be patient!

However, the chronicle did not stop there. The Bible (specifically the four gospels) teaches that our Lord was resurrected three days later, on Easter. The resurrection that happened on the first Easter was bodily, i.e. Jesus rose from the dead in his same body; it was not a spiritual body. Even though he rose in body, his resurrection was more than just a being brought back from the dead, and the Lord’s resurrected body had powers and abilities that our bodies don’t possess. Mary Magdalene was the first witness to this miraculous event, and she spread the word to the apostles, that in turn told the whole known world about it. Since the resurrection proved Jesus was the Son of God, and vindicated his teachings, the resurrection became the keystone of Christian life.

Thus, Easter is one of the earliest and most major Christian holy days. It was called the “queen of feasts” and is commemorated based on the moon’s movements. It changes each year because of this. In the Church, the liturgical color is white, and shouts of “alleluia” are overheard throughout the period. The season begins on Saturday evening with the venerable Easter Vigil, in which new converts join into Church and are baptized and/or Confirmed. The service frequently goes on for manhy hours, and in the early Church lasted from night until dawn. Secular customs include Easter eggs, Easter candy, and the Easter bunny. Many of these customs are connected to the fact that Easter occurs in the springtime, as rabbits and eggs are symbols of fertility and renewal.

Jesus returned to heaven forty days after Easter, and the Apostles were puzzled and disheartened. For the next nine days they prayed enthusiastically, and on the 50th day after Jesus’ resurrection, the Holy Spirit came down upon the apostles. The Bible said languages of fire descended upon them, and their speeches were overheard by all present in each individual’s native tongue. The Apostles were so infused with the Holy Spirit on this 1st Pentecost that scoffers believed the disciples were intoxicated. It was on this date that the Catholic Church began. All of this is told of in the Book of Acts.

The Catholic Church celebrates Pentecost fifty days after Easter. The church color is scarlet, symbolic of the flame that rested upon the Apostles. The dual themes of the Holy Spirit and the Church are commemorated, because of the original theme of the holiday. It was one of the traditional periods of baptism in the Church, and is often called Whitsunday in a lot of English-speaking churches.

The author recommends studying more about Easter and Pentecost as a way to become a stronger Christian.

Lent is a fantastic season of strict fasting and spiritual growth in the Catholic Church and other Christian churches. Many, however, still wonder about Lent? Lent comes from the Germanic word that means springtime, reflecting the time when Lent occurs in the calendar. It began in the early Church when leaders decided that a preparation period before baptism on Easter was imperative. The forty days fit with the fasting patterns of Elijah, Moses, and especially Jesus, who fasted forty days in the wasteland. In addition, the number forty also recalls the number of years the Israelites wandered in the wilderness.

The Lenten Season begins on Ash Wednesday and lasts for forty days. However, in the contemporary liturgical season, Lent actually becomes forty-four days, but Sundays don’t absolutely count as fast days. Lent stops throughout the Easter Vigil. Ideally, a fine Lent allows the person to be spiritually stronger and best able to commemorate Easter in the correct way.

Worship services during Lent are mainly simple and sparse. Penance and lack of celebration are key points. It commences with putting ashes on the forehead throughout Ash Wednesday. The Sunday services omit certain celebratory prayers and songs such as the Gloria. Also, the morals prohibit saying alleluia. Unique Lent Prayers are at times said. The color of Lent is purple, symbolizing both royalty and penance.

A traditional routine during Lent is fasting. Fasting is able to arrive in a few varieties. In the Catholic Church, adults ages 18-59 are allowed to consume one complete meal and 2 little meals on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, both fast days. Fridays in Lent are abstinence days, which means not consuming meat, though fish is allowed.

Sometimes individuals will give something additional up for Lent, such as sweets, coffee, or alcohol. This is a widespread custom, but is not mandated by any Christian church. Other people will actually attempt to do something positive instead, such as increasing volunteer efforts, going to church more frequently, or attempting to be more generous to friends and relatives. After all, Lent is a time for total otherworldly transformation, not merely giving up something.

Another important experience during Lent is prayer. The Church contains several Lent prayers that it encourages people to pray, such as particular confessions of sin. The Penitential Psalms are ubiquitous also. The rosary is prayed a lot during Lent and the person praying chooses the sorrowful mysteries. In most cases, the prayers are more somber, less joyful, and even somewhat negative, focusing on the death and pain of Jesus.

The third traditional practice is almsgiving, which is giving to charity. This can entail giving money to the poor directly, volunteering time, or even working for social justice through some capacity. Sometimes churches will organize food drives or go to soup kitchens during Lent to make sure they fulfill the obligation to give alms to the poor.

Although it’s not a traditional practice, several people discover reading the Bible or the essays of the Saints to be valuable for spiritual advancement throughout the Lenten period. Reading the Gospels or the prophets would assuredly fit with the theme of the season. From the essays of the Saints, the outstanding sermons of Leo the Great or the devotional writings of St. Therese would be valuable.

I expect you enjoyed my narrative about Lent. May you become truly blessed.

Have you ever considered writing your own love sms messages? Text messages are a major way to communicate in the modern world, so you need to learn how to effectively text your buddies, dating interests, and other people in your life. Many people search the world wide web for free love sms messages, but in reality you should write your own, to make your love text messages more personal.

Let me start with the dudes. You have to be assured of yourself, excellent, and playful when you pen a love text. It is okay to show your interest in some capacity, but don’t be all mushy, passive, and needy. Although females claim to desire a guy that is extremely “nice,” they truly don’t, and you know it. If they did, the nice guys would have dates and the jerks would be hanging in their houses alone on weekends, but this is not the situation. You don’t sit at home alone on weekends do you? If you do, you most likely aren’t attractive to women, but that is fine; we can alter this!

Ladies definitely love confident guys, period. One way you demonstrate your confidence is by being funny and by not caring very much. I can tell you, that if you are not confident, your likelihood of getting, and keeping, a girlfriend are slim. If you obey her every command, and transmit her a sms to this effect, you will look cowardly and needy.

Another thing a guy must get, is that you have to demonstrate that you do not care too much, which makes you appear confident as can be. It is very important when writing a love sms message that you at least seem to have a life. Don’t text her back immediately all the time. Make her wait a little. If you are excellent, you have things to do besides getting back to her right away, correct? Trust me, if you essentially show her that you can take or leave her, she will like you more. Again, nobody likes a needy guy.

Ok, last but not least, to the girls! First, you want to make yourself available. Guys are often clueless about these things, so you will have to work extra hard. Let them know you are available to hang, that you want to hang out, etc. Make it easy on him! Most all guys are apprehensive and will not ask you out unless you are open about your intentions.

It’s ok to complment a guy, if you restrain yourself. He will be grateful for it. However, don’t be too bizarre or act as a stalker. Guys like some distance. If they think you are not providing them a basic amount of space, they will leave you. Many males are afraid of making a commitment and will run from a relationship very rapidly if they believe you are squeezing them. You want your love sms to be romantic, but not insane. Don’t text things such as “we r 4ever” or “u and i r soul mates 4ever” or something such as that. That will scare many off. I know guys very well, and I am able to tell you, they have a word for females like this: crazy. Also, do not send him an sms every 10 minutes or send him scores a day. I know many guys and most do not like being assaulted with texts. Just be normal about it.

See, composing your very own love sms text messages is simple! Try it today!

The essayist suggests that if you need a few free sample messages, the author has provided those too, on various internet sites.

A lot of Christians and other people that I know wonder what the season of Advent is really about. They have heard of the name, have heard of some of the customs, but get confused. Is it Christmas? Is it identical to Christmas or is not it? What are its colors? What does the name “Advent” even mean? What also is the Advent wreath? Many find themselves thinking about Advent, and desire an answer.

These are pertinent questions that Catholics should understand. An understanding of the Church year is an essential aspect of Catholic teaching, although a lot of Christians do not avail themselves of this amazing spiritual tool to deepen their life of prayer. What is one tool? It is: the Advent wreath.

Advent comes from the Latin word meaning “coming” and is used in relation to the arriving of Jesus Christ. The authorized color of Advent season is purple (except week three, which is pink), and it falls 4 Sundays before Christmas and lasts roughly four weeks. It can start in either December or the end of November.

In ancient times, and in Orthodox and Catholic churches today, Christmas starts on Christmas day, and is a liturgical season that lasts until mid-January. This means that traditionally, Christmas doesn’t even start until December 25th. Most celebrations of Christmas nowadays commence in November (or even October!) and end on Christmas day. The traditional celebration does not even start until Christmas day. This is probably why many modern people do not apprehend Advent, because for most people, Christmas commences when advent is going on.

The truth is that Advent season is a distinct Christian season than Christmas, and the themes are altogether separate. Please read below for more information on this eminent season of the Church year.

Advent is a period of expectation, the expectation of the christ. Advent commemorates the hundreds of years of waiting for the coming Messiah. This makes sense, as the season leads up to Christmas, the birth of the christ (at least as Christians comprehend the term “messiah”). Thus, during the around 4 weeks of Advent, Christians wait for the nativity of God’s Son, along with the countless prophets, priests, and common people that waited for 100s of decades before Jesus Christ.

Advent is also about waiting for the next coming of the christ. This is also an important theme of the season. This is why Scripture readings at Advent also relate to the second arrival of Jesus. In essence, we wait symbolically with those that lived before Jesus, as we wait in reality for his second coming. Thus, Advent season is about waiting.

Advent is similar to Lent, in that it is a season of simplicity, a scaled back season in the Church year. While not a true fast in the authorized Catholic sense, it is a bare season, a less festive and more serious time period prior to the joyous season of Christmas. Thus, traditionally Advent has been a period of penitence and fasting. The “Gloria” part of the Mass is not used during Advent season, and there is an emphasis on repentance, which is also demonstrated by the prominence of John the Baptist in the Advent season. St. John is a symbol of Advent because not only was he the final prophet right before the arrival of Jesus, he also called everyone to repent of their sins in preparation for the message of the christ.

Overall, the point here is that Advent is not Christmas. Advent then clearly isn’t Christmas. The two are separate. One is simple, the other cheery. The former penitential, the latter joyous. Even though many individuals start celebrating Christmas around October these days, in the Orthodox and Catholic traditions, Advent is an expectant, simple, season that leads up to Christmas, that has its own customs and traditions, including the advent wreath, a popular devotional consisting of a greenery wreath and four or 5 candles. For more information on the season and the Advent wreath, please look below.

The author writes on a lot of topics related to the Christian religion, holidays, and the Church Year.

Many Christians are familiar with Christmas and Easter, but there are a lot of other notable holy days also. While I cannot consider all of them here, I want to highlight 2 feasts that fall back to back to each other: Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Both are significant in the Church Catholic because they commemorate two highly notable events in the life of Jesus Christ and truths that affect our salvation. It is not a good idea to brush off these 2 hallowed and historic holidays. I am wondering here, are you wondering about Good Friday Meaning?

First, let us discuss Maundy Thursday. It is a holiday that falls in the Thursday in Holy Week, which is also the Thursday before Easter Sunday. Also known as Holy Thursday, the Church Catholic celebrates the institution of the Eucharist on this day, as well as the establishment of the sacrament of holy orders. It was on this night, nearly two thousand years in the past, that Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with his disciples. On that night, he identified the communion bread and wine with his sacred body and blood, and said “do this in remebrance of me.” He also cleansed his disciples’ feet at this meal, an observation the Church still uses during its modern Maundy Thursday Masses. Christ also instituted a new mandate, for us to love one another just as he has loved us. This is the “mandate” from which Maundy Thursday is named. Maundy Thursday also begins the time period known as the Triduum, which stops on Easter Sunday. As you can observe, this is an significant date in the Church, because it commemorates the institution of the sacrament of Christ’s body and blood, and the sacrament that guarantees the apostolic authority of the followers of Jesus!

Second, let us recollect Good Friday. It falls on the Friday prior to Easter, and celebrates the last events in the life of Christ, his suffering, and death. It was on this Friday that The Lord sacrificed his life for the world’s sins. He hung on the cross, surrounded by two ordinary hoodlums, covered in blood, suffering, and left alone by his dearest followers. The process by which he walked to his location of death, and his final moments of pain and death are remembered in the devotion of the stations of the cross, frequently said on Good Friday. This feast is also a fast day within the Church. This means that Catholics are required to eat only one full-size meal, as well as abstain from eating animal flesh and meat based products on this day. This is a day of fast because we identify with the suffering of Jesus, and not eating is one way to accomplish this. Basically, Good Friday is important because it is the date that Jesus gave his life for our souls. His gruesome death for us destroyed death and hell, and demonstrated to us the way to suffer. This is why a lot of Catholics frequently use a crucifix as a prayer tool, because we are reminded not only of what Jesus went through, but his death was where the war for our salvation occurred. This is why followers of Christ all over the world treasure the death of Jesus so much.

To summarize, it is a great thing to observe Good Friday and Maundy Thursday. Each commemorates significant happenings in the salvation of humanity, and both days are vital to the prayer life of the Church. So, this Holy Week, don’t forget to pay attention to these two important holidays.

You have picked out that special someone, or that guy or gal you desire to become your dating interest, boyfriend or girlfriend. Maybe you have some friends or relatives that you love, and want to send them concise and fun love messages, or in the case of someone you are more than just friends with, romantic messages. Do you even have an idea where to begin? Could you pen love messages and romantic sms messages if you needed to? Do you even understand anything concerning the above subject, love messages?

Yes, it is a great concept to jot down a few romantic messages to your loved ones, whether in text form or even on paper (do individuals still do that??). Why? Because individuals love receivig love messages. They enjoy regularly getting a little note from those individuals they care for. A simple message from a loved one can make a person’s day more happy. Also, a well-written love message can allow you get in with somebody, simply because paying attention to others is one excellent manner to get that person to notice you. The following are 3 tips to think about when writing love messages.

One. Compose Your Own Messages

Swiping someone else’s material is quite bothersome to me. Do not steal people’s love messages or take them from youtube, your favorite musician, etc, all the time. It is okay to use some unoriginal stuff, like a traditional love poem or a buddy’s love note, but you want to add some of your own content. Using your very own content has a couple of effects. Firstly, it shows that you are intelligent. While noone likes a know-it-all, people do value intelligence. If you can’t come up with something original, it makes you appear unintelligent. Secondly, people value your time given to them, and they value it more if they know it is uniquely from you, and not some dopey love quote you swiped from another person.

2. Keep It Concise And Basic

People don’t have a lot of free time in the modern world. It is a shame, but this is the reality. Most people are good at squeezing a message into 125 or so letters, so we always expect that the love messages or romantic sms we receive to be short, even if they are for a boyfriend or girlfriend. So, whether sending a love message on your phone by text or by sending an electronic letter or paper letter, you do not want to write a lot. For one, if you write too much you can look needy and attached. As an example, if a dude sends a message that requires six texts, it makes him appear weird. What type of dude has the time to text a message that lengthy? Well, I say it is somebody that doesn’t have any life. So, keep your romantic messages short, simple, and to the point. If you do that, you will also look kind of mystifying, which means people will want to attempt to get to know you better.

Three. Don’t Be A Creep

You can come across as scary by doing different things. One way to obviously be creepy is by saying too much too rapidly. For example, you don’t want to proclaim your love early on in a relationship. If you state “I love you” too much or too early, you will look clingy and loser-like. Play it cool and move your relationship and your love messages incrementally. You do not want to appear weird or like you have to have a relationship. Being needy, whether you are a female or guy, isn’t attractive and isn’t going to permit you to maintain a relationship. I suggest taking it easy.

As I have shown, creating your own love messages is easy, whether writing to your girlfriend or boyfriend. Even if you want to be romantic or just friends, you are able take sms writing into your own hands!

The essayist suggests writing good messages if you desire to be loved and attract a girlfriend or boyfriend.

There are many ways to say I love you and show your love. I am convinced that most people say “I love you” too much, and fail to show it. Saying it is fine, of course, but if it isn’t backed up by actions, it is pointless. One of the things I notice among my students and friends (and people I know in dating relationships or marriage) is that the phrase “I love you” can easily become stale and meaningless. People will text I love u or something like that, perhaps hundreds of times in a day, but fail to really show it. What I have found is that you can sum it up mathematically – the more a person says I love you (or texts it), the less love exists in that relationship. Maybe this is oversimplified, but you get my point that just because someone says “I love you” an awful lot doesn’t mean that the relationship itself isn’t awful.

One of the best ways to say, and mean, I love you is to back it up with body language. This is the most important things you can do. You can back it up with a smile, touching, and showing signs of general interest. Open posture also shows love, whereas a closed posture shows a lack of interest. I am amazed how many people I know may say I love you, but interact with people in a way that shows the exact opposite. I find myself doing this sometimes. I mean, I will smile at strangers and not smile at my wife. I will have an open posture with people at supermarkets, but cross my arms when talking to my wife.

Now, while I admit it is easy to get entrenched with loved ones, i.e., it is easy to focus on their faults, I think we need to rethink the ways that we show our love, or the ways that we don’t. It could be as simple as purposefully demonstrating your love a little more often, with your wife, husband, girlfriend, or boyfriend. It could be as simple as smiling more or just treating your relatives, family, and friends like you treat people that excite you a little more. It is not that we try to withhold love from our relatives, wives, and husbands, but that we just let our love go stale, and forget how to show “I love you” even if we say it.

Today, I was watching a movie on drug addiction. I didn’t even catch the name of it, but it was about the downfall of a young woman due to her heroin addiction. At the end, when she finally got clean, she reflected on how she’d used drugs to replace the high that should come with the little joys in life.

I’ve been thinking about that topic lately. I’ve tried to focus on how much I enjoy my morning coffee, how much I love wine and I love chocolate, the joy I have with my three year old daughter, and the cool wind of October blowing as I pick pumpkins at a friends farm, but also the joys of certain foods, like wine and chocolate.

While I don’t know if celebrating the little joys in life will save anyone from a terrible addiction, I believe it relieves stress and makes life a little more enjoyable. Simply being mindful of the things I love on a regular basis has made me happier than ever.

Now that September is nearly over, we say goodbye to summer, not only according to the calendar, but also according to the weather. With the 45 degree nights, changing leaves, and appearance of pumpkins at roadside stands, I think it’s safe to say that summer is gone.

I had a great, but busy summer. I ran outside a lot and got probably the best tan of my life. I didn’t make it to the beach, but did visit an (indoor) water park. Above all, this summer I built up my business. This will make sure that I can spend future summers traveling and doing what I want. I drank more iced coffees than I can count, ate ice cream (I love ice cream, a little too much I think) and even went on a picnic. However, I didn’t play golf which still annoys me.

With fall, I’m pretty excited about a few things. I can’t wait to take pictures, take my 3 year old to the pumpkin patch, and dress up for Halloween. I’m also excited about Cleveland Browns football and the holidays. I’ll miss summer, but I have a lot planned for fall, which makes it easier. Heck, I may even try pumpkin flavored iced coffee and ice cream.
